Pilates Classes

Deep Root Pilates Classes located locally in and around Reading, Bisley, Finchampstead, Sandhurst, Winnersh and Wokingham, offers a range of small Pilates classes including an introduction into Pilates (focusing on rehabilitation from injuries), beginners classes and mixed ability classes.

The classes are suitable for any and everyone, no matter your age, body shape or fitness level. Should you want to build up core strength, have a stronger healthier back, recover from an injury, improve posture or just want to improve general well-being, pilates is the way forward.

What is Pilates ?

Pilates is a form of exercise that was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. It is an exercise program designed to lengthen and strengthen the posture muscles and assist with restoring the body to the correct alignment.

Pilates is one of the safest exercise methods, performed consciously with slow precision using the breath to assist with the execution of the exercises.

Pilates Classes

We offer a range of small Pilates classes including an introduction into Pilates (focusing on rehabilitation from injuries), beginners classes and mixed ability classes.

• Please bring your own mats for all classes.

• We provide modifications of the exercises to suit all levels & individual needs.

• Footwear is not required, as socks or bare feet are best.

Deep Root Pilates currently offers Pilates in Wokingham, Finchampstead and Sandhurst.
Morning, lunchtime and evening class available.

Payment
Class are charged monthly. £12 per class, to be paid in advance for the month. Payment can be made by cash or BACS.

About Me

I was born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa, where I was an active sportswoman, competing in both swimming and gymnastics. I started teaching gymnastics from a young age and continued in both Qatar and the UK. My passion for pilates started in Qatar, where I spent many hours working in a Yoga / pilates studio. From there I went on to qualify as a Stott Mat instructor, Level 2 Exercise to Music instructor and a level three Body Control Instructor. Currently studying towards my level 4 GP referral, specialising in back care.


I am passionate  about helping people and work closely with senior adults and the disabled. My passion for life comes across in my personality and sense of humour. Always sharing laughter.
